Regulatory Authority for Telecommunications and Posts - ARTP is responsible for regulating the telecommunication and postal services in Senegal. According to ARTP Sengals's mobile market is rapidly growing addition of 515,967 subscribers in Q410.[1] It is a member of ICANN community and participates in its meetings representing Senegal.[2] The company, along with Minister of Communication Telecommunications and ICT, is going to host ICANN42 meeting in Senegal scheduled on 23-28 October 2011.[3]
ARTP supported the organisation of West Africa francophone ccTLD workshop in Dakar, Senegal from 7 -12 December 2009.[4] It organized INET Africa Regional Conference, Sénégal in october 2008 with ICANN and afriNIC.[5]
