IAOC (IETF Administrative Oversight Committee) main responsibility is to provide appropriate direction, supervision and approval to IETF Administrative Support Activity (IASA), in-charge in the fiscal and administrative support of the IETF standards process. The IAOC also supervises the job of the IETF Administrative Director (IAD).[1]
The organizational structure of the IAOC is explained by RFC 4071 which was published on April 2005.[2]
