Career History

Tim, along with Ulrich Priesner and Marius Würzner, founded Sedo in 1999 in response to a noticed lack of a domain marketplace on the web. After their US subsidiary, Sedo.com LLC, was opened in Cambridge Massachusetts, Schumacher temporarily relocated himself to that branch, and served as its CEO.[4] In 2001, he was recognized as “Entrepreneur of the Year” by Ernst & Young Germany.[5] In 2009, he was promoted to CEO of Sedo Holding AG, the holding company which owns Sedo GmbH and all other Sedo branches.[6]

Prior to his Sedo legacy, from 1995 to 2000, Schumacher served as Owner and CEO of Ultimasoft.[7]
