John Crain
John Crain is currently ICANN's Senior Director of Security, Stability and Resiliency. Since the beginning of his career John has been involved in the administration of Internet Identifiers. Presently, he holds responsibility for the management of l.root-servers.net.[1] In October 2013 it was announced that Crain will take over the duties of outgoing Chief Security Officer Jeff Moss beginning in 2014. His new title will be Chief Security, Stability, and Resiliency Officer.[2]

Career History
Before assuming his current position he was the Chief Technical Officer at ICANN, a role he held since 2004.[3] Mr. Crain has also served as the Manager of Internal Operation at RIPE NCC.[4]
