ICANN Involvement edit
Ben Crawford and other CentralNic employees represent the company at ICANN's various conferences and activites. He was one of the experts who participated in ICANN's Ask the Experts Campaign, where he talked about marketing and the product of new gTLDs. According to him, competition within the domain name industry is strong and TLD applicants need to have purchasing ability to be able to find the right service providers and negotiate the right contract. Entities who plans to sell domains need multi-channel sales and marketing skills.[5]
