She serves as a member of the Scientific Committee supporting the European Union's Fundamental Rights Agency and represents European users at ICANN's At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC). She has been a visiting lecturer with the Oxford Internet Institute, Norwegian Research Center for Computers and Law, Westfälische Wilhelms Universität Münster and Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen.
