German Valdez is the External Relations Program Director at APNIC at APNIC (Asia Pacific Network Information Center). He is responsible for coordinating, integrating, and providing strategic direction for all communication and public relations activities at APNIC.[1]
Apart from APNIC, he also serves as the Member of the IPv6 Task Force Mexico and the IPv6 Latin America Task Force. He is also a Member of the ISOC Advisory Council.

- Co-ordinator for the development of the Domain Names Policies under the .mx ccTLD
- IP Address Coordinator, NIC Mexico.
- Research Assistant at ITESM
- System Analyst, Softtek.
