Marie-Noémie Marques is responsible for Internet governance-related issues at the Orange Group.[1] She has participated in the IGF and ICANN Meetings since 2016. She is in charge of follow-up trade negotiations regarding telecommunications and corresponding regulatory issues, with a particular focus on the digital economy and its challenges.

Career History[edit | edit source]

Marie-Noémie has over twenty-five years of experience working in telecommunications and regulation. She has been involved in the development and advancement of a number of policies related to the electronic communications framework at Wanadoo, France Telecom, and Orange group.

ICANN and Internet Governance Participation[edit | edit source]

Marques is a 2021 NomCom delegate and a ccNSO councilor, representing Europe. She is also a member of the ISP and Connectivity Providers Constituency (ISPCP) and has contributed to the Cross Community Working Group on ICANN Accountability-Diversity.[2]

Education[edit | edit source]

Marques has a bachelor's degree in Technical Sciences of Information and Communication, a Master's degree in Spanish, and a doctorate in the History of International Relations from La Sorbonne University, Paris.
