Carles Salvado (Usach) works at puntCAT Foundation. He is also the Telecommunications Service Manager at General Secretariat of Communications.
Career History
Prior to joining puntCAT, he worked at I2Cat Foundation. From 2002-2005, he was the Director General of InfoJobs.net.
Earlier in his career, he was the IT and Network Equipment Purchase Manager Retevision/AUNA, where he managed a budget of over 2 million Euros. In the beginning of his carer, he was a Software Engineer at Ciberveu, SA.[1]
He teaches off and on and in the last 5 years, he has taught master courses at IDEC Pompeu Fabra University and at La Salle Bonanova. He has also taught at the ETSET of Barcelona (UPC) for three years.
He has also been the board member of the Catalonian Association of Telecommunications Engineers and the Spanish Association Telecommunication Engineers.[2]
Education
He holds a degree in Economics from the IESE Business School of University of Navarra and and another degree in telecommunications from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
