Carles Salvado (Usach) works at puntCAT Foundation. He is also the Telecommunications Service Manager at General Secretariat of Communications.
Career History
Prior to joining puntCAT, he worked at I2Cat Foundation. From 2002 to 2005, he was the Director General of InfoJobs.net.
Earlier in his career, he was the IT and Network Equipment Purchase Manager Retevision/AUNA, where he managed a budget of over 2 million Euros. In the beginning of his carer, he was a Software Engineer at Ciberveu, SA.[1]
Carles teaches on and off and in the last 5 years, he has taught master courses at IDEC Pompeu Fabra University and at La Salle Bonanova. He has also taught at the ETSET of Barcelona (UPC) for three years.
Mr. Salvado has also been the board member of the Catalonian Association of Telecommunications Engineers and the Spanish Association of Telecommunication Engineers.[2]
Education
Carles Salvado holds a degree in Economics from the IESE Business School of University of Navarra, and another degree in telecommunications from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
