TERENA or The Trans The Trans-European Research and Education Networking Association is working for the betterment of education community through implementation of internet developments in the field. It provides the forum for communication and understanding of the upcoming technology.[1]
The association has special dedication towards the technologies including Internet research, Middlewear, Authentication and Authorisation, Grid Technology, IPv6, Infrastructure, Mobility, Monitoring, Optical Networking, Outreach, Security, Voice and video.[2]
