.sas is a proposed Brand gTLD in ICANN's new gTLD program. The announced applicant is Scandinavian Airlines System Group, but there has been speculation that other SAS-abbreviated or otherwise marked brands could apply and cause string contention.[1] The airlines group was originally planning on discussing their TLD plans at a London conference, but subsequently cancelled the talk.[2]
