.band is a proposed new generic top level domain name ([[gTLD]) to the New gTLD Program of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers. Two companies submitted an application seeking the internet governing body's approval to manage the registry operations of the .band domain name space include: [1]

  • Auburn Hollow, LLC, the company's application is handled by Donuts, a company established by domain industry veterans that applied for 307 new gTLDs. Daniel Schindler, EVP for Sales & Marketing of Donuts is listed as the main contact for the application.
  • Red Triangle, LLC, applied for the .band string through WhatBox?, a company that own domain name registrars, resellers and owns a portfolio of more than 1800 domain names. Erik Ludwick is the main contact person for the company.
