- Donuts (Trixy Oaks, LLC) - This applicant submitted a Public Interest Commitment, which can be downloaded here.

- CompassRose.Life Inc. - This applicant submitted a Public Interest Commitment, which can be downloaded here. The TLD failed its initial evaluation in June 2013 due to its responses to the financial questions in the application; it subsequently requested and passed extended evaluation.[1][2]
- Xiamen 35.com Technology Co., Ltd[3]
Auction[edit | edit source]
It was announced on 19 Dec 2013 that Donuts won in a private auction against all other applicants the right to .life. Donuts is now the sole remaining applicant and CompassRose.Life Inc. and Xiamen 35.com Technology will receive a pay-off from Donuts in return for withdrawing their applications. The auction was administered by Applicant Auction.[4]
