Francesco Cetraro was born and raised in Rome; he currently lives in Dublin and working as the Manager of Business Development and Sales for the DotMobi.

He is a strong advocate of open source software as an instrument to overcome digital divide and to allow a more equal distribution of resources among the people of the world. He sees his position as an opportunity to contribute to a fairer development of the Internet.

His academic background is in Political Science and International Relations. He has a sound interest in new technologies, geography and development studies.

He received his secondary education from Liceo Classico Innocenzo XII, Studies Political Science at Uppsala universitet, received a MA in Political Science from Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli where he Majored in International Relations and European affairs, with focus on EU Regional Development Policies and received a Masters degree in European Affairs from Lunds universitet.[1]
