.bet is a new generic top level domain name proposal to ICANN's New gTLD Program for the gambling industry There are four applicants contending to become the registry operator for the .bet domain name space including: [1]

  1. dot Bet Limited- its application was filed for by Famous Four Media, a registry service provider based in Gibraltar that applied for 61 new gTLDs including .bet. Geir Andreas Rasmussen is the contact person in the application. [2]
  2. Afilias Limited- The company applied for 305 domain name strings including .bet. John Kane, Vice-president of Corporate Services is the contact person in the application. [3]
  3. LADBROKES INTERNATIONAL PLC- is a company based in Gibraltar and Joanne Elizabeth Johnson is point person in the application.
  4. Donuts (Foggy Way, LLC)- the company filed 307 new gTLDs. Each TLD was submitted by Donuts under different company names. [4]
