The '''Registry Services Technical Evaluation Panel  (RSTEP)''' is a technical team under the [[GNSO|Generic Name Supporting Organization]]. Its primary responsibility is to assist in the evaluation of requests for new registry services. RSTEP was created based on Section 1.4 of the '''Registry Services Evaluation Policy''', which was developed by the GNSO in lieu of the requests by [[gTLD]] Registry Operators for the review and approval of new registry services.
