William Dee is currently working on various aspects of European Union Internet governance policy.He regularly attends the GAC as advisor on the European Commission delegation In 2010, he represented the European Commission in the discussions on new Internet domains in the 38th meeting of ICANN . <ref>[http://www.ip-watch.org/weblog/2010/06/23/more-delay-to-icann-introduction-of-new-internet-domains/ IP Watch]</ref> He has been actively involved in Internet related public policies started in 2001.
