William Dee is Directorate General for the Information Society and Media Internet, Network and Information Security Unit of the European Commission.[1] He has been actively involved in internet related public policies since 2001.
William Dee is currently working on various aspects of the European Union's internet governance policy. He regularly attends the GAC as an advisor to the European Commission delegation. In 2010, he represented the European Commission in the discussions on new internet domains at the 38th meeting of ICANN.[2]
William Dee is of British/Irish nationality and currently resides in Brussels.
