Dustin Loup is the Executive Director of ISOC-DC. He was previously the Executive Director of ICANNWiki and was an employee of the project from May 2015 - March 2019. He continues to be involved with the project as a board member. He also chairs the usTLD Stakeholder Council.

Career History[edit | edit source]

ISOC-DC (June 2016-Present)[edit | edit source]

Dustin is the Executive Director of ISOC-DC. Prior to this, he was the Assistant Director of the Washington, D.C. Chapter of the Internet of Society, where he worked with David Vyorst.[1]

usTLD Stakeholder Council[edit | edit source]

Dustin has been a member of the usTLD Stakeholder Council since June 2018 and took on the role of Chair in April 2019.

IGF-USA[edit | edit source]

Dustin has served as Co-Chair of the IGF-USA since 2018. Prior to that, he led several initiatives to improve the workflow and communication, by introducing a dedicated wiki among other things.

ICANNWIki (June 2015-Present)[edit | edit source]

Dustin is currently on the ICANNWiki Board. Previously, Dustin worked for ICANNWiki from June 2015 through March 2019, most recently serving as the Executive Director. In this role, his responsibilities included managing and carrying out all aspect of the organizations operations and activites.

Dustin was originally hired as Editor and Community Manager in June 2015. Throughout his tenure, he attended a variety of conferences and worked with a diverse set of stakeholders to move the project forward in a way that benefits the Internet governance community as a whole.[2]

Aberdeen Water Department (2013-2015)[edit | edit source]

Dustin worked at the water department in Aberdeen, WA, USA to help facilitate a city wide project, which replaced old water meters with digital meters.

Education[edit | edit source]

Dustin received a BA in Political Science from Gonzaga University in 2013.
