Eyvaz Alishov is the International Relations Manager and ICT policy adviser from Azerbaijan and currently living in Finland.

He was born on 11th of March 1982, in Azerbaijan. He got his bachelor of international relations degree from Baku State University, Azerbaijan and master of international relations degree from Ege University, Turkey. Eyvaz speaks Azeri, English, Russian, Turkish and Finnish languages.

He previously worked as a leading/chief adviser at Ministry of Communications and High Technologies (Azerbaijan)| 2009 – 2014 and as an adviser at the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan | 2014 – 2015.

He has attended at several training courses such as “Training Program for Young Leaders for Central Asian and Caucasus Countries (Policy on Information and Communication Technology)” organized by Japan International Cooperation Agency under International Cooperation Program of the Government of Japan – (March 2010, Japan), “Effective ICT management – Master plan to Solutions”– (June 2011, Singapore), “Legal Framework of eGovernment – Basic Concept and lessons Learned” for Azerbaijani officials – (May 2012, Estonia)

He was invited by the IGF to attend ICANN 43 in Costa Rica.[1]
