Henri Asseily is the Chief Strategist and CTO at TelNic Ltd,[1] which manages the Top Level Domain .tel.[2]
Mr. Asseily has attended the ICANN Mexico [3] and ICANN Paris conferences.[4]
Background
Previously, Henri, along with Farhad Mohit, launched Binary Compass Enterprises. In 1999, the company changed its name to BizRate.com. In 2004, Bizrate.com launched Shopzilla.com which was acquired by The E. W. Scripps Company for $525 million in 2005.[5]
Prior to founding Shopzilla, Henri Asseily pursued varied careers. He founded and managed a real estate development fund in the Middle East, he worked as a robotics engineer for Novafloor SA in France, and as a field supervising engineer for Krupp Polysius AG in Germany.[6]
Henri Asseily has an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School.
