Youth Brazil Program
The Youth Brazil Program was created in 2015 by the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br) and aims to contribute to the training of the next generation of Internet leaders. In this way, it aims to “offer young people aged 18 to 25 a training program on Internet Governance, encouraging participation in Internet Governance forums, especially in the Brazilian IGF (FIB), in the LACIGF (Governance Forum of the Internet in Latin America and the Caribbean), and at the Globsl IGF[1].

The Program has an annual selection of young people and has two phases: Directed Study Phase and Event Participation Phase.
The Selection[edit | edit source]
The first phase selects 150 candidates who will take part in the “Training and Directed Study Program on Internet Governance”. The activities will be remote and will last four weeks.
Among the 150, the program selects 25 young people who will be able to participate in the Internet Forum in Brazil
Among these 25, ten will participate in the LACIGF – Latin American and Caribbean Internet Governance Forum and five IGF Lusófono - Lusófono Internet Governance Forum, as well as another ten in the IGF – Internet Governance Forum[2].
