Tim Switzer started working on 7 March 2016 as Director, Strategic Partnerships at Verisign, where he works with multiple channel partners to help them grow their business via .COM and .NET.

He was formerly the Head of Operations for .BUILD (Minardos Group), a company that was the sole applicant for the .build string.[1]

Prior to .BUILD, he was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at DotGreen Community.[2] While there, he was responsible for all business operations of DotGreen, and was particularly focused on preparing for the TLD launch, while working on growth opportunities and channel distribution for Dot Green.[3]

He was formerly involved in ICANN through his work with Neustar, and has continued to participate actively at ICANN. He is currently a member of the Registry Constituency via Verisign. He was a former member of the New TLD Applicant Group (NTAG) and was elected to serve as part of the original EXCOM, initally as Treasurer and later as Chair of the NTAG.[4]
