Carlton Samuels is a Nominating Committee Appointee to the GNSO Council in the Non-Contracted Party House, representing Latin America and the Caribbean. He is also involved with ICANN as a member of ALAC, where he has provided advice to the ICANN Board on DNS-related security and stability issues, since 2009.[1]
He also has experience with ISOC, ARIN, EWG, and was the chair of the Whois Task Force. He has also been involved with the GeoRegions, ThickWhois, Applicant Support, and new gTLD Working Groups.[2] He was appointed to the GNSO Council as a candidate from Latin America / Caribbean Islands by the NomCom for the term following ICANN 66 AGM 2-7 November 2019 in Montréal, Canada.[3]
