Krista Papac is the Chief Strategy Officer of AusRegistry. She was appointed to this position in September, 2010.[1] The AusRegistry team cite her knowledge of policy-making processes and of IDNs as great assets to the company as it prepares for new gTLD operations.[2] Krista is a member of the IGF.[3]

In a letter dated December 8th, Krista, along with twenty-seven other domain name industry participants, wrote to Sen. Jay Rockefeller and Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison to support ICANN's new gTLD program, in response to the Senate Hearings taking place on the same day. They supported ICANN's argument that the program would be innovative and economically beneficial, and that the program had taken lots of people a long time to develop, hence it had not been rushed.[4] Read the letter here.
