Clyde Beattie is CEO of a number of companies, and has investments and leadership roles in a number of other organizations. He is Founder and CEO of Antris, a web and mobile app for adventurers and lone worker trip plan monitoring and security management; CEO of The Yorkland Group, a capital and management focused business and Chairman of Maglin, a commercial site furniture designer and manufacturer.

Beattie previously founded and was CEO of Aloak a Domain Registrar, Web Design & Hosting; and Founder and CEO of Execulink a Canadian ISP.

In a letter dated December 8th, 2011, Clyde Beattie, along with twenty-seven other domain name industry representatives, wrote to Sen. Jay Rockefeller and Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison to support ICANN's new gTLD program, in response to the Senate Hearings taking place on the same day.
