Minds + Machines was to provide the back-end registry services for the .roma TLD. It applied on behalf of the partnership.
The application was withdrawn after TLDH failed to provide documented government support to remove the objection by the Italian government.[2]
GAC Early Warning[edit | edit source]
The application was issued a GAC Early Warning from Italy; the warning system is noted as a strong recommendation on behalf of national governments to the ICANN Board that a given TLD application should be denied.
