Anass Sedrati is a Moroccan Telecommunications engineer with an ongoing interest in Internet Governance. He is currently a Business Technologist at Bintess. Before that, he was a research fellow at Portulans Institute. He has combined this professional activity with his personal interests and with online activism on various social media. He is interested in issues related to Internet governance and human rights specifically in the MENA region. He participated in ICANN 55.

- Registration is open for ICANN 74! ICANN is advising those who wish to attend in person to register promptly. You can register here.
- ICANN has announced the 2022 LAC Domain Names Week, a virtual conference for those interested in the domain name ecosystem of Latin America and the Caribbean. The conference runs from Tuesday-Thursday, April 26-28. Registration is open now.
- On April 14, the NCSG sent a letter to the GNSO Council outlining concerns over the GAC's outsized say in the matter of closed generics in response to the ICANN Board's decision to hold bilateral talks with the GAC on the topic.
- On April 19, ICANN closed its Public Comment period for the Policy Status Report on the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP), after 41 individuals and organizations made statements. ICANN will release a summary report on May 3.
