W.G. Champion "Champ" Mitchell is a member of the board of directors at Argan Inc, 41st Parameter, Research Triangle Institute, and the UNC Board of Governors. Until June 2008, Mitchell was the Chairman and CEO of Network Solutions. He joined Network Solutions in 2001 and spearheaded the company's buyout and separation from Verisign in November 2003.
