Viviane Vinagre is a Legal Analyst at Belvo. Before that, she was a Law student at Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB) and a member and secretary of the Grupo de Estudos de Direito da Internet (GEDI), UFRN's only institutionalized Internet Governance group, and of LABIRINT LoFt, a UFPB's research group about Law and Technology. Viviane is also part of ICANN NCUC and is an active member of the Youth Observatory, a special chapter of the Internet Society.

Recent Events

On January 20, Public Interest Registry launched the New Top-Level Domain .giving.
On January 27, ICANN Organization issued a request for information to evaluate vendors for the implementation of a new enterprise system to aid ICANN staff in the collection and processing of applications for future rounds of new gTLDs. The goal is to identify prospective candidates to be short-selected for the second stage of the evaluation, the RFP stage, which will be closed or invitation-only.
