Statements on the IANA Transition

On 1 October 2016, 18 years after the creation of ICANN, it's contract with the United States Department of Commerce National Telecommunications and Information Administration expired, marking the official transition of the oversight of the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority to the global multistakeholder community. Read some of the statements from some of the organizations that were so instrumental in this historical moment.
