Ranjit R Nair is an Alumni of Anna University, Chennai; Passionate IEEE volunteer in multiple roles under IEEE Educational Activities Board, having spearheaded successful campaigns and projects such as Teacher in Service Project (TISP), Early Career Faculty Development Program and winning awards for excellence; Chaired Young Professionals AG at Kerala Section and Coordinated at Asia Pacific Region level; Founder Secretary of Internet Society of Trivandrum (ISOC-TRV).

ICANN Involvement[edit | edit source]

Participated in ICANN 57 at Hyderabad, India from October 2-9. An active volunteer representing ISOC TRV (Trivandrum, India), one of the ALSes of ICANN.

Involvement in Internet Governance[edit | edit source]

Internet Society Trivandrum (ISOC - TRV)

As the founder secretary of Internet Society Trivandrum (ISOC-TRV), Ranjit was one of the key person in organizing various events of ISOC in Kerala including the Consultation on Net Neutrality, awareness of Internet Governance among the student community, etc.

First India School on Internet Governance 2016 (inSIG 2016)

He was one of the core organizing team behind the first inSIG event, held at IIIT Hyderabad from 31-2, November, 2016. The event had 44 delegates from nine countries participating in it.
