Krista Papac is the Chief Strategy Officer of AusRegistry. She was appointed to this position in September, 2010.[1] The AusRegistry team cite her knowledge of policy-making processes and of IDNs as great assets to the company as it prepares for new gTLD operations.[2] Krista is a member of the IGF.[3]

Career History

Krista has a background in the international domain name industry.[4]

She has been active in the International Trademark Association since 2001. Since 2007, she has particpated in ICANN activities and has been a part of a number of ICANN policy-making groups. She represented AusRegistry, along with its CEO Adrian Kinderis, at the 2010 Domain Fest and .nxt conferences.[5]

Prior to joining AusRegistry, Ms. Papac was the Business Development and Sales Manager at Iron Mountain. For 1 year, she worked as a Senior Sales Executive at Xerox, where she managed a team of eight entry-level sales representatives in prospect development, sales calls, proposal and bid preparation, and delivery of ‘C’ level presentations.

For less than a year in 2005, she worked at MarkMonitor as a Regional Sales Manager. Working as a Senior Sales Executive at VeriSign was one of her first jobs.[6]
