IP Justice is a member of the Non-Commercial Users Constituency (NCUC) and participates at the ICANN through Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO). IP Justice's Executive Director Robin Gross is the Chair of ICANN’s Non-Commercial Users Constituency (NCUC).[7]

IP Justice was founded in 2002 by Robin Gross at San Fransisco. Robin Gross who was then an attorney at Electronic Frontier Foundation(EFF) started IP Justice to bring international copyright reform. [8]
