Henk Uijterwaal is a researcher and senior project manager on information technology.He is a member of the ICANN 2010 Nominating Committee and [1] IETF Trust, established in 2005 by the Internet Society, the Corporation for National Research Initiatives, the Internet Engineering Task Force, and its Initial Trustees to advance the education, science and technology related to the internet for public interest. The IETF Trust is responsible in acquiring, holding, maintaining and licensing certain existing and future intellectual property related to internet standards process and administration.[2] [3] Henk also serves as chairman of the IETF IP Performance Metrics (IPPM) Working Group and member of RIPE Test Traffic Working Group (TT-WG). The IETF IPPM WG is responsible in developing standard metrics that can be used to maintain the quality, performance, and reliability of Internet data delivery services [4] while the TT-WG is responsible in measuring the performance related parameters on the v4/v6 Internet.[5] Henk is also a former member of the IETF Administrative Oversight Committee (IAOC), which is responsible in overseeing the daily operations and responsibilities of the IETF Administrative Director (IAD) in providing fiscal and administrative support through other activities, contractors and volunteers.[6]
