.roma is a new geographical TLD proposed to the New gTLD Program of the [[ICANN|Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers by a company based in Rome known as Roma TLD S.r.l. owned entrepreneurs engaged in the domain industry. Roma TLD S.r.l. seeks to serve as the registry operator for the .roma domain name space, which is intended to provide a dedicated online space for individuals and businesses operating within the City of Rome. ^[1]
