.auto is a proposed new generic top level domain name (gTLD) to the New gTLD Program of ICANN.
Current Applicants
The following companies filed their application to serve as the registry operator for the domain name string: [1]
- Dot Auto LLC, Tess Pattisson Wade is listed as contact person for the company
- Fegistry, LLC, Jay Westerdal, founder of Name Intelligence, is the contact person.
- Uniregistry, Corp., the string is one of the 54 new gTLDs applied for by the company. [2]
- Donuts (Big Maple, LLC), represented by Daniel Schindler, EVP of Donuts, which applied for 307 new gTLDs.[3]
