John Kane is the Vice President of Corporate Services at Afilias.[1]

For the last thirteen years, he has focused on the online/Internet industry, specifically in the area of domain name management, brand protection and Internet security. Currently, in his role at Afilias, John oversees the continuing expansion of Afilias product offerings including the Managed DNS Services business and Internationalized (IDN) e-mail.

John was integral in Afilias bid for the .INFO Top Level Domain in 2001, and contributed as Marketing Task Force Leader where he led initial branding, marketing and public relations while working for the Corporation Service Company (CSC). He then held a place on the Afilias Board of Directors until 2007.

John spent 7 years facilitating growth at CSC and its affiliate, The Company Corporation, while leading their sales, marketing and branding efforts. Most recently, John held an Executive Vice President position at Demand Media and served as President of its subsidiary, eNom, Inc., an ICANN accredited registrar.
