Background
Previously, Henri, along with Farhad Mohit, launched Binary Compass Enterprises. In 1999, the company changed it's name to BizRate.com. In 2004, Bizrate.com launched a website named Shopzilla.com which was acquired by The E. W. Scripps Company for $525 million in 2005.[5]
Prior to founding Shopzilla, Henri Asseily pursued varied careers. He founded and managed a real estate development fund in the Middle East, he worked as a robotics engineer for Novafloor SA in France, and as a field supervising engineer for Krupp Polysius AG in Germany.[6]
Henri Asseily has a MBA from the University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School.
