Jonathan Rosenberg is the Chief Technology Strategist at Skype.[1][2] At skype, he is responsibel for shaping and driving the company's technology strategies and overall architecture.

Jonathan Rosenberg is active with IETF. He was the Co-Author of the Session Initiation Protocol(SIP).[3] He is one of the most prolific authors of the internet standards with 56 RFCs. He has been the member of IAB for 2 years(2004-2006).[4]

Jonathan Rosenberg was also a Member of the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority(IANA.[5]

Jonathan Rosenberg has recieved his Bachelors and Masters degree from MIT and Phd from Columbia University.
