The '''[[Senegal Playing Card Deck]]''' was one of [[ICANNWiki]]'s giveaways for [[ICANN 42 - Dakar]]. Each playing deck was unique to each [[ICANN Meetings|ICANN Meeting]]. The Playing Cards were an extension of ICANNWiki's [[Caricature Badges]]. Playing Card Partners had their logos clearly featured on the card box and deck and were given the opportunity to highlight their company and its members with special cards. The opportunity to sponsor a [[Playing Cards|Playing Card Deck]] was only available to ICANNWiki Partners, who could also sponsor Caricature Badges, [[City Guides]], and ICANNWiki [[Murals]].

    The ICANNWiki Quick Guide (Formerly ICANN Primer) was an indispensable resource for the ICANN community and people interested in Internet governance as it prepared participants for ICANN Meetings.
    In the News
    • On January 20, the European Parliament agreed on a draft set of amendments to the proposed DSA concerning measures to tackle illegal content, hold platforms accountable for their algorithms, and improve content moderation. The text was approved with 530 votes to 78, with 80 abstentions, presenting a unified position ahead of final negotiations with the European Council.
    • On January 25, Google Domains launched early access registrations for .day.
    • On January 27, the GNSO Council and ICANN Board discussed the ODA for the SSAD. In particular, the discussants raised topics such as the merits and costs of accreditation, the legal risks involved in SSAD, the development of a requestor code of conduct, the need for a pilot version, shortening the timeline, and improving the estimate of potential users.
