Sophie Wessels is Project Manager at SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE, an online pharmacy. Before that, she was a Product Manager of Sedo, beginning in November 2013, where she was responsible for SedoMLS and the partner program. Prior to working at Sedo, she was a Consultant for NTT DATA for over three years, where she was a Project Management consultant responsible for the planning and execution of new strategic, marketing, and IT initiatives.
ICANN 54 in Dublin was her first ICANN Meeting, though she has also attended WHD.[2]
Recent Events
- On January 20, Public Interest Registry launched the New Top-Level Domain .giving.
- On January 27, ICANN Organization issued a request for information to evaluate vendors for the implementation of a new enterprise system to aid ICANN staff in the collection and processing of applications for future rounds of new gTLDs. The goal is to identify prospective candidates to be short-selected for the second stage of the evaluation, the RFP stage, which will be closed or invitation-only.
