Regulatory Authority for Telecommunications and Posts - ARTP is responsible for regulating the telecommunication and postal services in Senegal. According to ARTP Sengals's mobile market is rapidly growing, with an additional 515,967 subscribers in Q4, March 2011.[1] It is a member of ICANN community and participates in its meetings representing Senegal.[2]

Conferences[edit | edit source]

The company, along with Minister of Communication Telecommunications and ICT, hosted the ICANN 42 meeting in Senegal on 23-28 October, 2011.[3] In the past it has organized INET Africa Regional Conferences with ICANN and afriNIC.[4] ARTP also supported the organisation of West Africa francophone ccTLD workshop in Dakar, Senegal from 7 -12 December 2009.[5]
