.broker is a new generic top level domain name (gTLD) proposed to the New gTLD Program of ICANN.
Applicants
There are two companies seeking the internet governing body's approval to include the .broker string in the root zone of the internet domain name system (DNS) and to serve as its registry operator. The applicants include: [1]
- IG Group Holdings PLC, a company based in Great Britain
- Spring North, LLC is a company formed by Donuts to submits its application for the domain names string. Donuts is a start-up registry operator that applied for 307 new gTLDs. . [2]
