Elisabeth Porteneuve has been involved in ICANN since its inception. She was the first DNSO Secretary, from 1999 to 2002.[1]

Elisabeth Porteneuve has been a leader in the ccTLD community, working as Counsel to the General Director of the French registry AFNIC [2]. She was elected member to the Board of CENTR, CENTR Executive Committe. [3]
Elisabeth served at the DNSO [4] Names Council, elected by the ccTLD constituency of the DNSO. She served at the first ICANN IDN committee(Masanobou Katoh's committee).
She served for many years on the Administrative Committee the the World Wide Alliance of ccTLD's. [5]
Elisabeth is an expert member to AFNOR, one of 5 standardization bodies forming the ISO 3166 Maintenance Agency for country codes. [6]
