LOAD is a think tank and advocacy group that supports current and future netizens in realizing their basic rights. It is a member of EURALO.

LOAD sees the technical and digital education of the population as an indispensable prerequisite for digital change. Network policy and digital change must be removed from the niche of the network community. Close collaboration with science and research is very important to LOAD. Practical solutions should also be developed in discussions with decision-makers from politics, business and society (education, culture, civil rights activists).

A particular focus is on transparent democratic participation and co-determination opportunities and their further development. LOAD sees the opportunities that a (technically) upgraded or updated democratic decision-making process offers, but also the problems that come with these technologies and would like to accompany and help shape the transition to new participation options, taking into account all the advantages and disadvantages.
