.cruises is a proposed TLD in ICANN's New gTLD Program. The proposed application succeeded and was delegated to the Root Zone on 04 February 2014.[1]
Cruise Lines International Association Inc. filed a Community Objection against this application.[2] The objection was later withdrawn.[3]

Donuts filed for the TLD under the company name Spring Way, LLC. Donuts applied for 307 new gTLDs, each under different company names. Daniel Schindler, Donuts EVP for Marketing and Sales is the main contact person in its application. [4]
There are two applicants for the singular version of this string, .cruise.
Contract Signed[edit | edit source]
On December 5, 2013 Donuts received a Registry Agreement signed by ICANN for .cruises after passing all the required processes needed to become a Registry Operator for the string.[5]
Delegation and Availability[edit | edit source]
.cruises was delegated to the Root Zone of the DNS on 04 February, 2014, completing the successful application for the string.[1]
