The Information Technology Operations Division at Ames Research Center (ARC) operates E.root-servers.net, one of the 13 Internet root name servers. NASA ARC cooperates with the other RSOs to provide authoritative data for the DNS Root Zone, under the direction of the Ames Office of the Chief Information Officer.
