Matthew Shears is a current board member for ICANN. He has been involved in Internet Governance and international internet policy issues since participating in the World Summit on the Information Society in 2005.
Involvement with ICANN
Shears was substantially involved in the IANA Stewardship Transition in 2016. He was selected by the GNSO to serve on the ICANN Board in 2017 and the Annual Meeting in 2020.
